Emails: Layout vs. Content

There are two different components to an email:

There is the layout, which is everything except the body of your email, e.g., your company header or unsubscribe footer.

And there’s the content, which is the actual words, images or urls in the body of your email.

Here are a couple of visuals to help clarify.

The {{ content }} tag represents where you’d like the email content to go.

Potential email content:

In the email composer, you’ll create the message that fills in the content.
